THE ROLE An active opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel property lawyer to step into a true 2IC position within a busy and growing property team. This is a hands on, autonomous role with full carriage of matters, direct client relationships and the opportunity to influence how the practice operates, including improving precedents, workflows and efficiencies. The work is predominantly commercial property and development focused, including high value transactions, developments and commercial leasing. Clients are sophisticated and include property developers, retirement living operators and hospitality clients. You’ll be supported by experienced associates, highly capable clerks and dedicated assistants, while also playing a key role in mentoring and leadership within the team. This role suits a senior lawyer who can hit the ground running, enjoys independence, and is motivated by quality work rather than volume for volume’s sake.
